Children have been letting their artistic flair show during fun arts and crafts sessions at Hartlepool’s Summerhill Country Park.

The arty activities are just one of a host of activities being held for families during the school holidays and park managers say numbers have been up on last year.

During the crafts sessions, young children have enjoyed painting, making flower pots and other items they took home with them.

Another arts and crafts drop-in session takes place on Tuesday between 1pm and 3pm.

There is no need to book and there is a charge of £1 per child per activity.
