A CAVALRY band entertained a delighted audience in Billingham in an event that raised £1,500 for a leading forces charity.
The Heavy Cavalry and Cambrai Band based at Catterick, North Yorkshire, played to a packed audience at St Luke’s Church in Billingham.
Organisers the Cleveland & Durham Odd Fellows Friendly Society said it was a night to remember.
The event raised £1,500 for the Army Benevolent Fund towards a recovery centre at Catterick Garrison.
Guests who attended the event described it as “fantastic” and “brilliant” and a privilege to listen to.
The Cleveland & Durham branch is part of the Odd Fellows Friendly Society which was established around 200 years ago to help local charities people.
