ROCK is making another return to the region after Bon Jovi announced a date at the Stadium of Light.
The concert, on Thursday, June 13, next year will be one of five UK dates by the American band as it takes to the road for its Because We Can tour.
Tickets for the event will cost from just £12.50 after the band themselves insisted fans were not priced out of being part of the crowd.
The tour will also include dates at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium, Villa Park in Birmingham, Cardiff City Stadium and Glasgow’s Hampden Park after playing North America, other dates in Europe, the Far East, Africa, Latin America and Australia.
Because We Can – The Tour will also debut new songs from the band’s latest album What About Now, due out next spring. For Sunderland’s date, a limited number of general admission tickets costing £65 will be available from the stadium’s ticket office from 9am on Friday.
Those tickets are for in-person purchases only – bookings cannot be taken via telephone and will be general admission tickets - standing/unreserved seating and a maximum eight per person is permitted.
Purchasers will be issued with a voucher which can be redeemed for an actual concert ticket nearer the show.
