There are lots of activities at Hartlepool’s libraries to keep youngsters entertained during the half-term holidays of February 15 -19.

Central Library, York Road (Tel. 01429 272905): Monday, February 15, Stories and rhymes for the under fives – Thomas the Tank Engine, 10.30am; Tuesday, Stories and rhymes for the under fives – Who’s Driving?, 2pm; Wednesday, Mother’s Day drop-in craft session, for children of any age, 10am-11.30pm, and Baby Babble for the under twos, 1.30pm; Thursday, Stories and rhymes for the under fives – Hungry Hettie, 10.30am.

Headland Library, Middlegate (Tel. 01429 268169): Tuesday, February 16, Springtime daffodil craft session, for children aged five-plus, 10.30am-11.30am. Booking essential; Friday, Stories and rhymes for the under fives – The Rabbit’s Tale, 2pm.

Owton Manor Library, Wynyard Road (Tel. 01429 272835): Monday, February 15, Stories and Rhymes for the under fives – Bear Counts, 2pm; Tuesday, Baby Boogie for the under fives, 11am; Wednesday, Spring craft session for ages 4-11, 10.30am-11.30am. Booking essential.
