DOZENS of youngsters are letting their imaginations run wild during weekly library sessions.
Bosses at Hartlepool Central Library say the York Road-based venue’s toys and tales sessions are proving so popular that they regularly attract more than 30 children.
The hour-long activity sessions, which are aimed at the under-fives and take place every Monday from 10.30am, feature story-telling, rhymes, music, crafts and toys.
Library officer Jackie Johnson said: “The children enjoy story time and sing with instruments. They usually also do a little bit of craft-making.
“It’s a really fun session, it is really popular and all the children in the family thoroughly enjoy it.
“We usually get around 30 or more youngsters attending and each week the theme varies, depending on the story line.”
