BRAVE fundraisers are needed to help bring in cash for a children’s hospice.
Butterwick House Children’s Hospice, which is based in Stockton but cares for children across the North-East including Hartlepool, is hosting the bungee jump on Sunday, February 12.
Fundraisers have to climb the 210 steps to the top of the Transport Bridge, in Middlesbrough, before screaming with excitement as they experience the exhilarating jump over the River Tees.
Jumps are available from 9am onwards on a first come first served basis.
Entry is £15.
Participants are asked to raise a minimum of £85 sponsorship for Butterwick House.
Meanwhile, the children’s hospice is also hosting a ball gowns and frocks ball at the Thistle Hotel, in Middlesbrough, on Thursday, February 23, at 7pm.
Destiny Bridal will assist people in finding the perfect dress while there will also be stalls with accessories to buy.
Tickets cost £5 each.
Butterwick House Children’s Hospice, in Stockton, was opened in October 1998.
All services are provided free of charge.
The hospice is staffed by a team of experienced professionals and volunteers who are focused on enhancing young lives and supporting children’s families through the ups and downs involved in caring for a child with a life-limiting illness.
