A chain with the right formula

A PHARMACY chain has opened a new branch in Seaton Carew.

Norchem, which operates 20 pharmacies across the region, unveiled its new premises for M&J Pharmacy in Seaton Carew which is now called @Seaton and is based on Elizabeth Way.

It was officially opened by Mayor Stuart Drummond after significant investment from Norchem meant the pharmacy could move to new, fully refurbished premises.

Martin Linford, who manages the new site and lives in Blackhall, has had extensive experience in the healthcare sector and has been a qualified pharmacist for eleven years.

He said: “This new site will be able to serve the community and the surrounding areas to provide a comprehensive pharmacy service.”

Norchem area manager Dave Cowen said: “Our customers are at the heart of our business and we’re committed to providing exceptional customer and patient care.”

Mayor Drummond, said: “It is encouraging to see investment is still being made on the high street and especially into important services such as pharmacies.”
