A HARTLEPOOL company is putting the bling into business.

Personaleyez in York Road has invested in a rhinestoning machine which it bought from America.

Company founder Susan Blades, 57, believes hers is one of only two machines of its type in the UK and can add stones to any garment.

She added: “We can bling anything with it. Most places use stencils or hand beading but we can put on 70 beads a minute.”

Susan has 15 dance schools from areas such as Hartlepool, Stockton and Newcastle on her clientele list.

She said: “We print, embroider and our unique selling point is the rhinestoning.”

She said one of her more creative requests was to bling up a onesie.

Susan, a former Garlands contact centre worker, first founded the business in her home. “It started out as a hobby but it grew and grew,” she said.

Six weeks ago, she moved into the York Road premises and now Susan is doing well in her business base.
