Its distribution arm offers wholesale sales of its product line to all parts of the UK as well as for export.

It also has a cash and carry wholesale for business customers who can call in at the 15,000 sq ft plant.

And the site also runs a training academy where students can learn everything from nail extensions to beauty treatment, as well as waxing, tinting, eyelashes, and weight loss.

The business is run by Yvonne Carter, 59, and her 21-year-old son Alan Carter who live at Wynyard.

Also involved is Yvonne’s husband and Alan’s father, also called Alan, 57, who acts as an advisor and helper to the family concern.

He told Business Update: “Vivre International was formed two years ago and we had a place on Team Valley.”

He said the warehouse at Team Valley was getting tight for space and added: “We live at Wynyard and we were driving around. We saw the premises on Brenda Road and it was ideal.”

At the moment, the business employs six people but Mr Carter said: “Our aim is to build up the business. We have got a lot of new products coming in.”

One of its exciting new lines is an all-in-one gel polish which the company hopes to start manufacturing from Hartlepool in the next three to six months.

“We want to manufacture it and sell it all over the world,” said Mr Carter, “And that will create jobs.

“If everything goes to plan we could get 20 to 25 people.”

Even if there are hold-ups in the proposals, between six and 12 more people would be taken on in the next 18 months to help with the general expansion of the business.

The company offers over 1,600 hair and beauty products in the Hartlepool cash and carry outlet, Brands include the complete range of Millennium Professional nail products.

It supplies salons, retail outlets, and nail technicians as well as the consumer.
