A PRESTIGIOUS business awards finale is looming with just five weeks until the big night.
And people who plan to attend the glittering occasion are being urged to book their tickets before it is too late.
The Hartlepool Business Awards are held on Thursday, May 15, at the Borough Hall in the town.
Hundreds of people will watch as 11 titles are announced, but tickets are in hot demand and the awards organisers say anyone wanting to come along should get in touch soon or miss out altogether.
Awards co-ordinator Andrew Steel said: “The judging panels have sat and everything is now gearing up for the usual fantastic awards evening.”
Tickets are £40 a head which includes a three course meal, although people can book a table of eight or ten people at £35 a head.
The categories for the competition are Retail sector; Service sector; Manufacturer of the Year; and Most Promising New Business.
There are also categories for Exporter; Community; Training; Innovation; Tourism and leisure; Business Personality of the Year; and Business of the Year.
Mr Steel added: “I would urge people to get along to the final because, once again, it promises to be a great event.”
This year’s competitors will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of J&B Recycling which won the Business of the Year title last year.
