l AN exhibition to highlight North-East business and its commitment to a low carbon future is on the way.

The Federation of Small Businesses is organising its Green 4 Go exhibition at Nissan Sports and Social Club in Sunderland, on Thursday, November 17.

Small business owners will also be able to find out how they can reduce their carbon and save cash by running their companies more sustainably.

FSB North-East regional vice chairman, Ted Salmon, said the exhibition was part of a full day of activities to raise awareness of the Government’s plan for the North-East to become the driver of the UK’s low carbon economy.

The Green 4 Go exhibition is a free event and is open to all businesses. The event runs from 2pm to 7pm. The exhibition will coincide with the FSB North East region’s annual dinner, where a guest speaker will round off the day’s events.

Tickets for the dinner – which include a three-course meal – are £10 per person and should be paid for in advance by emailing southtynewear.secretary@fsb.org.uk
