AN accountancy firm has made a number of internal appointments as it prepares for another year of growth.

Evolution, which has offices in Wynyard and Hartlepool, has responded to a period of rapid expansion and development over the last 12 months by restructuring its team.

Joanne Regan has been appointed as an associate member. She will progress to full membership subject to completing a rigorous training programme.

She said: “I’m delighted to have been appointed into my new role and look forward to helping to drive the company into new markets and continue its development as a practice.”

Her colleague, John Kearney, has become senior client partner while senior manager Andrew Rowe will assume more duties, and potentially become client partner in the future.

Lee Watson has been named as a senior tax manager while Emily Bentley has been promoted to marketing and business development manager.

Office manager Sara Hall has been appointed as HR manager, and Francesca Crossling has been appointed a tax senior.

Managing partner Martin Barber said: “At a time when staff at many companies are facing redundancies and promotion freezes, we are in the fortunate position of being able to reward our team with the chance to develop their careers and grow their skill set as our organisation expands.

“We are now well placed to build on a successful 2011 and continue our growth.”
