A NETWORKING group for women will by taking a “tour” of France, Italy, Brazil, Germany and South Africa when it holds its next meeting in Hartlepool.
The Women What Do group will hold its next get together on Friday, September 19.
Delegates will meet at Cafe One77 in York Road in Hartlepool for the wine and cheese networking event.
A spokesman for the group described it as “everything you ever wanted to know about wine but were afraid to ask”.
The spokesman added: “International wine experts Pieroth will be with us to take us through a tour of fine wines from France, Italy, Brazil, Germany and South Africa. You’ll learn about how to rate wine and identify your favourites, accompanied by some fine traditional cheeses.
“Plus, there’s the usual round of business networking too.”
The event will run from 5.30pm to 8pm and women are being asked to confirm their attendance in advance.
The cost of taking part is £10 which is payable on the door.
The event is not the only one planned in the Women What Do calendar. Its Christmas event will be held on Friday, November 28.
The forward-thinking group is also lining up a seminar on Friday, January 30 when the group will have a meeting titled Get You And Your Business Fit.
The group’s events are designed to be informative, friendly and informal. The Forum is open to women who:
l own or manage a business.
l are self-employed or freelance.
l work in their family business.
l manager a voluntary sector organisations, including charities and social enterprises.
l work within the public sector but who have an interest in economic development and/or business issue.
l are thinking about setting up a business or are in the process of setting it up.
