A HEALTH spa and gym is hoping for a sparkling future after revealing its newest services.

Teeth whitening and a deep facial treatment are two of the latest attractions at Springs gym, in Harbour Walk, Hartlepool.

Meanwhile, the Springs-based hairdressing salon is up for grabs to any potential new investor.

“It is a business opportunity for anyone who wants it,” said Springs group administration manager Brenda Bland.

“It is a fully equipped hairdressing salon with a good client base and lenient incoming terms.”

Brenda said some firms had already showed an interest in taking over the empty salon but no-one had officially come forward yet, either to take over the whole promises or for a number of parties to take it on a chair by chair rental basis.

Other services already running at Springs – which has around 1,600 members – include a new teeth whitening service run by County Durham entrepreneur Carol Prockter.

It involves clients being treated with a high performance laser light and Carol, owner of the business called Niveus (which is Latin for white) told Business Update: “There is quite a lot of interest already.

“The first customer was really pleased and I am hoping for more,” added Carol who started the service at Springs around a fortnight ago.

Springs salon manager Nicola Moreland said the beauty side of the Marina-based business was going well.

“Spa days are going really well and include one treatment or treatments (priced accordingly) – other treatments available are massages, facials, manicures.

“We have also just started a deep exfoliation treatment which takes off the first layer of the skin in a non-abrasive way. It is ideal for anyone with dehydrated or bad skin and it is good for anti-ageing as well.”
