THAT’S just capital.

That’s the reaction of customers who have visited a new-look popular tanning salon in Hartlepool.

Anyone who has paid a visit to the Heatwave premises on the Fens shopping arcade can not help but notice the London theme.

The owners have incorporated authentic bus seats, and a working bell.

There is also a graffiti art wall for people to leave their comments on what they think of it all.

Shawny-Ray McKenna does cover work at the shop and her mother Hazel McKenna owns the business.

Shawny-Ray told Business Update: “We have decorated and we have used a London theme.

“We got on to a school down south which was revamping a bus and we took the seats.

“We have got a working bell as well.”

Shawny-Ray said the reason for the new look was “it has always been quirky in the salon.

“We find that people are absolutely loving it.

“They are putting pictures on Facebook of people ringing the bells and people have been in-boxing us to ask where we got the seats from.”

As well as being a tanning studio, the premises also has other facilities including fitness vibration power plates.

It has a staff of three main employees and four cover workers as well as the owner Hazel.
