A WATER treatment specialist from Hartlepool which recently took on four new engineers has secured more work out of the area.

Hydrochem, which is based on Graythorp Industrial Estate in Hartlepool, has installed a number of new water tanks at Natural Retreats lodges, in Richmond, in North Yorkshire to meet the demand over the summer season.

Linda Hannah, Hydrochem’s general manager, said: “Due the site expanding we have had to install some new tanks as there wasn’t enough running water getting across the site.

“A team of our engineers have been working for some time at Natural Retreats to rectify the problem in time for the summer season.”

Hydrochem was set up in 1987 and is now the longest serving water treatment company in the North East of England.

The firm specialises in inspecting water systems, diagnosing problems and then supplying solutions in boilers, heaters, and pipeworks.
