A BUSINESSMAN is launching a scheme which helps would-be entrepreneurs to shine.

Rob Collier runs both @thirteen and Advanced Retail Solutions at the Innovation Centre on the Queens Meadow Business Park in Hartlepool, which is run by UK Steel Enterprises.

Rob is doing so well himself, he is putting up money to help someone with an idea or a new product that they are trying to develop.

They will also benefit from Rob’s background and contacts. Through Advanced Retail Solutions he distributes goods around the UK and has contacts with major retailers.

He plans to highlight the offer through agencies and said: “I want to encourage new talent. There must be lots of people out there with new products and new ideas and I want to help them.”

His proposal is to put up some finance to help people get their ideas off the ground and into shops or wholesalers.
