It started yesterday and gives away daily clues to a secret location in Hartlepool, where one successful treasure hunter will win £500 in cash. The company will also match the prize with a £500 donation to the Hartlepool & District Hospice.
Jamie Arthur, Hartlepool resident and director of mm&d, said: “We were looking to find a unique way of celebrating our tenth year. We wanted it to be fun and also engage the local community and what better way to do this than giving someone an early Christmas present.
“We were also keen to support a local charity, and Hartlepool & District Hospice fits the bill perfectly. They do great work in the town and rely heavily on fundraising so we were more than happy to make a contribution to such a fantastic cause.”
To stand a chance of winning, follow M Media & Design on social media, for daily video clues on Facebook and Twitter which will lead to the mystery location. Videos will be posted at 10am each day.
Jamie added: “Social media is a great way of promoting specific campaigns to a targeted area. We are looking to engage with a large volume of people in Hartlepool and create a lot of excitement around the event.”

The company, based on the Queen’s Meadow Business Park in Hartlepool, won the Creative Industries award at this year’s Hartlepool Business Awards in May.
It has a growing reputation among companies both in the UK and globally. The business is primarily a multi-media agency that does website design, graphic design and online marketing.
At the time of winning the award, bosses said they wanted to expand from ten staff within the next 12 months because of a rise in demand for the company’s services.
