A health food retailer is expanding and a new charity shop is set to open in Hartlepool’s shopping centre.
A new Sue Ryder is also opening tomorrow on the first floor of Middleton Grange Shopping Centre, adjacent to the Galley Coffee Shop, from 11am.
Shopping centre manager Mark Rycraft, Centre Manager, Middleton Grange said: “We look forward to welcoming the Sue Ryder store to the centre and hope shoppers in Hartlepool come along and support the store.”
Also Holland & Barrett is moving into a bigger unit at Middleton Grange Shopping Centre in Hartlepool from on Wednesday, September 23.
The larger Holland & Barrett store is one of the chain’s new bespoke concept formats designed to help shoppers keep healthy on the go and will be taking a 1,310ft unit in the South Mall.
To celebrate their new location within the centre, Holland & Barrett will be holding an in-store opening event on Saturday, September 26, where customers can receive a free product sample.
Mr Rycraft said: “We’re very excited to see the new Holland & Barrett store and would encourage shoppers to come and celebrate with store and centre staff next weekend. We’d like to wish the team good luck with the opening.”
The features include a “Shake-A-Whey” unit, a mix-and-go bar for sports enthusiasts to purchase single protein shakes to takeaway, or top up a bottle they carry with them, while a pick ‘n’ mix stall of fruit, nuts, seeds and snacks is aimed towards health conscious shoppers.
