MORE than 300 tickets have already been sold for the biggest event in the Hartlepool business calendar.
And anyone thinking of still attending the Hartlepool Business Awards was today urged: “You had better book your place fast.”
Awards co-ordinator John Megson said: “There are a few tickets left but more than 300 have already been sold.”
The awards will be held at the Borough Hall in Hartlepool on Thursday, May 16.
Tickets are £35 each including VAT, a price which has remained unchanged for the last five awards.
Mr Megson added: “We are expecting a sell out so the message to anyone wanting to attend is don’t be late in applying for a ticket.”
There are £11,000 in prizes up for grabs, including business to business services.
Those who do attend will get to enjoy a three-course meal, and watch businesses being crowned with titles including Retailer of the Year, Service Sector Winner, Manufacturer of the Year and Most Promising New Business.
There will also be awards for Exporter of the Year, the Community category, for Investment in Training, Innovation and Technology, and Tourism and Leisure.
The event will come to its finale with the announcement of the Business of the Year.
