LUXURY tableware and kitchen equipment business Goodfellows is proving no flash-in-the-pan.
The Peterlee firm has clocked up an astonishing £2m turnover in less than two years.
Launched in March 2012 by North-East-born food and hospitality entrepreneurs Valda and Paul Goodfellow, the company boasts Close House, Seaham Hall, Jesmond Dene House and the Michelin-starred Raby Hunt restaurant among its North East clients, as well as a number of top venues across the UK.
Exclusive agreements with manufacturers of unique tableware, equipment and chefs’ clothing have seen the business grow from start up to a team of 16 people at its Peterlee head office, and open a London showroom.
Valda said: “Reaching a £2m turnover in such a short space of time is testament to the great team of people we have in place, and a belief that the market was ready for a high-end supplier with the focus on quality, innovation and customer service.”
