A HARTLEPOOL law firm has won an accolade which marks excellence in the home buying process.

Tilly Bailey & Irvine Solicitors, has secured membership to the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS).

It underwent rigorous assessment by the Law Society to get the status which marks the firm out as meeting the highest of standards in the residential conveyancing process.

Carolyn Tilly, head of private client services at the firm, said: “For the vast majority of us, buying a home is the single largest purchase we will make, so it makes sense to seek out a solicitor who can act to the highest standards and protect our assets.”

Tilly Bailey & Irvine Solicitors has secured CQS status across all four of its offices, in Hartlepool, Stockton, Wynyard and Barnard Castle.

The scheme requires practices to undergo a strict assessment, compulsory training, self reporting, random audits and annual reviews in order to maintain CQS status.
