A shoe shop has opened in Hartlepool - and has brought 11 new jobs to boot.
Pavers Shoes, a national comfort shoe retailer, has officially opened the new store in Hartlepool.
The grand ribbon cutting, which was attended by Councillor Kevin Cranney, took place at Middleton Grange Shopping Centre.
Mark Rycraft, centre manager at Middleton Grange added: “We are thrilled to have Pavers open at the centre.
“They are a great brand and the shop looks fantastic.
“They have brought 11 new jobs to the town as well as a new complimentary offer we are sure our shoppers will enjoy.”
He added: “We wish them well and welcome them to Middleton Grange.”
Rose Ward, new store manager at Pavers Shoes, said the company was delighted to have opened a store in Hartlepool.
