TIME is running out for North- East firms wanting to enter a competition for civil engineers.
Two weeks are left for companies to enter the Robert Stephenson Awards run by the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) North East.
The awards recognise the work produced by local construction workers and designers within the region.
They awards will be presented at the ICE North East Dinner, on April 18, 2013 at the Newcastle Marriott Hotel Gosforth Park.
But any submissions for the awards must be entered by Friday, January 18, and notification of intent to enter must be received by Friday, December 14.
Derek Smith, ICE North East awards scheme secretary, said: “The deadline for the event is getting closer but submission could not be easier, with access to an application pack on our website, companies can quickly and easily download the information and apply.
“The ceremony is a wonderful occasion and we urge anybody thinking of applying to go to our website as soon as possible before the deadline expires.”
