A LEARNING provider which helps young adults to progress towards apprenticeships has got the thumbs-up from Ofsted inspectors.
Springboard Hartlepool was rated as good in nearly every aspect of the organisation.
Inspectors said students developed good skills and benefited from good support and guidance.
They also had “programmes and partners that meet their needs well,” the report added.
Springboard Hartlepool is a work-based learning provider in Tower Street.
It works with young people of all ages and abilities up to advanced apprenticeship level.
It covers vocations including business administration, customer services, horticulture, elderly care, graphic design and print, customer services, sport and leisure and childcare.
Springboard Hartlepool manager Carl Fox said he was extremely pleased with the report and added: “I am delighted the report recognised the progress that Springboard has made in recent times.
“We will not be complacent however, and the management team will be putting together a post inspection action plan to address areas for further improvement found by Ofsted.”
