A DELIGHTED entrepreneur is celebrating after her underwear brand got top backing.
Tallulah Love, which is owned and run by Michelle Taylor, has featured in a photoshoot taken by Tom Ford - the man who turned around the fortunes of the Gucci fashion house.
His work was for the CR Fashion Book which is famously created by Carine Roitfeld, the ex-editor of French Vogue.
Michelle, from Hartlepool, said: “Two fashion giants have worked together on this shoot and from all the brands in the world they chose to use Tallulah Love lingerie.”
She said she was “very flattered” to have had her designs chosen. She added: “Our social media network went crazy when we announced the news and messages have flooded in from around the world to congratulate us.”
Michelle’s fame has constantly grown since she won the Hartlepool Mail-backed If we can, you can competition in 2008.
The 26-year-old still lives in Hartlepool.
She launched Tallulah Love Luxury Lingerie in 2009 and has since clinched contracts in Germany, Italy, Holland, the United Arab Emirates and Japan.
Now, her lingerie range is so popular she is having to outsource work to distributors in France, Russia, South Africa, Australia, Japan and the USA to cope with demand. Michelle’s business in based in Gateshead.
