Ocean Pearl broke down off the coast of Redcar just after 7am yesterday.
Redcar and Hartlepool lifeboat crews helped the boat and the two people on board back to shore safely.
The members were back out at around 12.50pm yesterday when another boat had engine problems near to the pier.
Three people were onboard, and the inshore lifeboat towed them back to shore.
As the crew were heading back to their Ferry Road base, they noticed a man struggling in a dinghy in the marina and helped him back to dry land.
