HARTLEPOOL Mail readers helped to raise thousands for Callum – now you can play your part in helping Callum’s Dream to be named the best editorial campaign in the UK.
The Making a Difference campaign is running throughout Local Newspaper Week, taking place from next Monday, May 12 to Friday, May 16.
And throughout that period an online vote will be running giving readers the chance to vote for 30 of the strongest editorial campaigns from newspapers throughout UK.
From Monday, the Mail is urging you to show your support for Callum’s Dream.

Local Newspaper Week is an annual initiative run by the local newspaper industry and the Newspaper Society to highlight the important role played by local papers in communities.
This year’s theme is designed to showcase the ability of the local media in making a difference to the lives of residents in the community.
Throughout the week, the Mail will run a series of stories demonstrating how we have helped the community through a series of campaigns.
And we’ll also be reminding readers to get online and vote.
