And don’t forget to urge your friends and relatives to do the same.

Local Newspaper Week is an annual initiative run by the local newspaper industry and the Newspaper Society to highlight the important role played by local papers in communities.

This year’s theme is designed to showcase the ability of the local media in making a difference to the lives of residents in the community.

Throughout the week, the Mail will run a series of stories demonstrating how we have helped the community through a series of campaigns.

And we’ll also be reminding readers to get online and vote.

You can also support Local Newspaper Week on Twitter by following @localpaperweek and using the hashtags #LNW and #MakingaDifference.

The winning campaign will be announced next Friday, May 16.
