A FAMILY are appealing for information as to the whereabouts of their pet bulldog.
Archie the three-year-old French bulldog went missing from a livery yard in Dalton Back Lane, near to Dalton Piercy, Hartlepool, on November 8.
His worried owner Joy Odgers has contacted town vets, dog wardens, asked people on social-networking site Facebook and even put up posters and flyers in and around the village.
But her efforts have proved fruitless, so today Joy contacted the Mail to see if any readers have seen him.
Joy said the love-able pet is black with white markings on one of his front paws, chest and between shoulder blades on his back.
He has had an operation on his back leg, a floppy ear due to a haematoma – a collection of blood vessels – and a hernia on his stomach.
The dog is currently on medication and was due to return to the vets for checks for a skin complaint later this week.
Joy said: “Our French bulldog Archie went missing from our livery yard on Dalton Back Lane. He was seen near the indoor riding school at around 7.30pm on November 8, and nothing since.
“We have advertised on Facebook, contacted vets, dog warden, posted flyers in village, put an advert in the Mail’s lost and found but we’ve heard nothing.
“We miss him terribly and are offering a reward for his return.”
Anyone who has any information should telephone Joy on 07837574943.
