A LOCAL authority is looking for an experienced caterer to provide a café facility at one of its main leisure sites.
Hartlepool Borough Council is inviting bids to run a café within the visitor centre at Summerhill outdoor activities centre and local nature reserve, off the town’s Catcote Road.
The popular attraction offers a wide range of activities including play areas, nature trails, climbing, supervised sessions and crafts.
Zoe Rickelton, the council’s sport and physical activity manager, said: “The visitor centre already has kitchen facilities and the contract would involve payment of a monthly fee to the council in return for exclusive rights to trade at this very busy and lively venue.
“This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced caterer to add their flair and creativity to one of Hartlepool’s most popular and successful leisure attractions.”
