MEN who are trying to lose some weight and get fit can sign up for a new course.
Hartlepool Borough Council’s sport and physical activity team are running a six-week indoor fitness course starting next month.
The circuit-based sessions incorporating aerobic and weight exercises, called Men Begin 2, will be held at Hartlepool Sixth Form College, in Blakelock Road.
Rachael Pringle, the council’s sport and physical activity officer, said: “This course is ideal for men who haven’t tried fitness training before or who haven’t done it for a while and want to get back into it.
“It’s an excellent way to work your way to better fitness for the summer months in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.”
The course gets underway on Tuesday, March 13 from 6pm-7pm.
Those aged 16+ can take part.
