HARTLEPOOL United fans can play 90 minutes at Victoria Park and even be managed by Colin Cooper for the night as the club announces its fourth annual Play on the Pitch event.
Hartlepool United supporters have until Friday to guarantee themselves a spot in the starting line up at The Vic for this year’s match, taking place on Wednesday, May 7.
Bidding for each position for the fantastic package starts at £75 although by guaranteeing a payment of £110, people can book their chosen position, providing it’s the first bid for that place.
The price includes a full kit for each player, including name and number on the shirt, a full 90 minute game at The Vic, a team photo, DVD of the game, post-match meal and presentations of a Hartlepool United gift for each player. And the players will even be subject to post match analysis from both managers on the night.
The club have revealed Pools boss Colin Cooper will manage the home team on the night while the gaffer of the away team is yet to be confirmed.
Fans who want to try and grab a spot in the team at a lower price than £110 can roll the dice in an auction for the positions, starting at £75.
The highest bidder at the deadline of 5pm next Friday will be handed each shirt.
Interested fans should email their bid to firstname.lastname@example.org including details of name, address, age, contact telephone number and chosen team and position along with the amount they are wishing to bid.
Bidders will receive an email confirmation as well as another email if the bid is beaten.
The club say fans wishing to bid should be of appropriate fitness to participate in full 90-minute game and also over the age of 16.
