A CHARITY is hosting a supportive lecture meeting for people affected by inflammatory bowel disease.
The Tees Group of Crohn’s and Colitis UK aims to improve life for people affected by the condition by offering a wide range of support for sufferers and their families.
The charity, which is in its 25th year, has around 500 members and ranging from schoolchildren to pensioners and is urging sufferers to come to these informative lectures.
The talk, which centres around what future advances can be expected for inflammatory bowel disease, will be hosted by consultant gastroenterologist Dr Peter Trewby.
It will be held at Darlington Memorial Hospital on Saturday, March 12, at 2pm.
