KIND-HEARTED staff at a fast-food restaurant are set to hold a family fun weekend in aid of a charity.
Workers at Pizza Hut, at Hartlepool Marina, are hosting the Family Fun Weekend, in aid of Cancer Research, on Saturday, July 28 and Sunday, July 29.
Adults and youngsters can go along and take part in activities like a chilli challenge, and eating a spicy pizza, as well as a raffle, face painting and other activities.
Front of house team member Laura Allen, 24, said: “We’re holding the event at the end of the month in aid of Cancer Research and we’re all really excited about it.
“We’ve organised face-painting, a chilli challenge and eating a spicy pizza and we’re also holding a raffle with really good prizes.
“All the money we raise on the day will be donated to Cancer Research.
“It’s such a worthy cause and affects so many people.”
The event will be held from midday until 5pm on both days.
