A RESIDENTS’ association and community centre are preparing to hold two days worth of Christmas events and tickets go on sale this weekend.
In December, the Burn Valley North Residents’ Association and St Matthew’s Community Centre, in Hartlepool, are holding two days of events at the community centre in Elwick Road.
On Saturday, December 8, from 10am until 3pm, there will be a “Christmas Fayre”, which includes craft stalls, free children’s activities, face painting, raffle, tombola and refreshments.
Anyone wishing to sell their crafts can book a table, at a cost of £10.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, December 9, from 11am until 1pm there will be free children’s activities.
From 1pm until 3.30pm, the pantomime ‘Follow the Yellow Brick Road’, will be presented by ActOne Panto.
Hot sandwiches and refreshments will also be available during the day.
Tickets for the pantomime cost £5 each or £17 for a family concession (four tickets which must include one adult).
Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis.

Tickets will also be available at the St Matthew’s Coffee Mornings on Saturday, October 6 and Saturday, November 3, which take place between 10am and noon, and at the table top sales on Saturday, October 20 and Saturday, November 17, between 10am and 1pm.
