A CHURCH will hold its Christmas fair this weekend – with a chance for people to buy a book on its history.
Holy Trinity Church in Seaton Carew will hold its fair on Saturday.
It takes place in the Holy Trinity Parish Centre, in Church Street, Seaton Carew, from 10am to noon.
Among the many attractions will be a chance to buy copies of a book which looks at the history of the church and the people behind it.
Money raised from the sales will go towards a £150,000 appeal to restore the stonework on the church which dates back to the early 1800s.
It is in need of urgent attention after more than a century of being exposed to the elements.
It has now been put on English Heritage’s Buildings at Risk register.
