The vehicles will be on show from noon to 4pm thanks to an event being planned by the Northern Bygone’s Society.
Spokesman Paul Jackson said: “There will be a 1934 Morris and a 1976 Austin Allegro.
“There will be a Morris MO54 and a 1954 tractor.”
Mr Jackson said between 20 and 40 vehicles were expected to be part of the event and added: “Some are coming from Rushyford in County Durham. Some are coming from Stockton and some from Hartlepool.”
Fans of classic and vintage vehicles will not have long to wait before the next convoy in town. Mr Jackson said the society will also be holding a Vintage and Classic Car Show on Sunday, September 20, on the Greatham sports field.
It will last from 10am to 3pm and will also include a table-top sale.
“Hartlepool is a hugely-popular area for the society,” said Mr Jackson. “The group pulls in followers from all the North East, but Hartlepool accounts for a fifth of all its members.”
The society holds regular meetings, gathering on the second Thursday of each month, with meetings held from 7.15pm onwards at the Oakleaf Sports Complex, in Newton Aycliffe.
Membership fees are £15 a year, which includes members receiving a monthly newsletter.
