A THRIVING community centre and residents’ association has joined forces to arrange a host of events.

The Burn Valley North Residents’ Association and St. Matthew’s Community Centre, in Elwick Road, Hartlepool, is holding table top sales, a pie and peas supper and a bus trip to Leeds over the coming months.

Everyone is invited to go along to the packed programme of events.

First up is the monthly meeting of the Burn Valley North Residents’ Association which will take place on Tuesday, June 18 at 7pm at St. Matthew’s Community Centre, in Elwick Road.

The association is to hold a pie and peas supper with bingo on Wednesday, July 31, from 6pm until 9pm at the community centre.

Tickets cost £4 and include bingo and refreshments and a vegetarian option is available.

Also included is a fun quiz, raffle and tombola and the popular annual event is open to everyone.

Meanwhile, the residents’ association and community centre will be re-commencing their table top sales and coffee mornings on Saturday, September 21 from 10am until 1pm.

Also included is free children’s activities, cake stall, a raffle and refreshments.

Burn Valley North Residents’ Association is also running a bus trip to Leeds in September and anyone interested in going along is asked to get in touch for more details.
