DRUGS cops discovered a suspected cannabis farm while investigating another crime in a Hartlepool street.
Police have today revealed they were in Everett Street at around 12.45pm last Wednesday, October 31, as part of an inquiry into an unrelated matter.
After entering a property in the street, a police officer became suspicious and discovered 43 plants of various sizes upstairs and in the loft.
It is thought the plants could have a street value of £17,000.
A 44-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of production of a Class B drug and has been bailed pending further investigation.
