A BOXER who punched a man who was drinking in a village pub will have to wait to discover his fate.

Declan Fusco was due to be sentenced for the attack, but Durham Crown Court heard he has other offences which are due to be dealt with at Peterlee Magistrates’ Court in the next few weeks.

Fusco, 22, of Rydal Crescent, Peterlee, admits causing grievous bodily harm with intent to do grievous bodily harm, and common assault.

Both offences took place on December 23 last year at the Village Inn, in Easington.

The Recorder, Mrs Amanda Rippon, adjourned sentencing until a date to be fixed in the week commencing June 17. Fusco was remanded in custody.
