Burglar stole from own family

A TEENAGE burglar has beenlocked up for two years after repeatedly breaking into relatives’ homes and stealing from them.

David Hollick-Cairns burgled his nephew’s house and stole £3,000 of DJ equipment because he was annoyed at his relative and wanted to “teach him a lesson”.

The 19-year-old was already serving a suspended sentence for breaking into his dad’s house in March last year when he committed the burglary.

But on March 4 this year, he broke into his nephew’s home in Baden Street, Hartlepool.
