Cannabis sentence

A MAN will be sentenced after he admitted growing 30 cannabis plants.

John Robinson, 28, pleaded guilty to the charge of producing a class B drug when he appeared at Teesside Crown Court.

The offence took place between November 15 last year and January 17.

A judge ordered a background report from the probation service before he is sentenced next month.

Robinson, of Powell Street, Hartlepool, was bailed in the meantime.
