THE ex-partner of a man who has not been seen for more than two weeks has appealed for him to return home.

Scott Anthony Fletcher, 27, was last seen in a lay-by on the A181 in Wheatley Hill on Wednesday May 11.

Mr Fletcher and his ex-partner Shelly Marshall are parents to four-year old daughter, Lucie, and he is also a step-dad to six-year-old Bradley.

Shelly said: “Scott please come home or contact us, the kids are missing you loads and are wondering why they haven’t seen or heard from you.”

Police officers are becoming increasingly worried about Scott’s whereabouts.

It has been reported to officers that Scott, from the Throston area of Hartlepool, may have got into a black Renault Clio with a blonde-haired woman on the day he went missing.

He was known to have contacts in Wheatley Hill, West Rainton and Cumbria.

He was last seen wearing a black sweater and black jeans.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Acting Detective Inspector Alan Todd, of Hartlepool Police, on (01642) 302178.
