Court Round-Up: Breaching orders, theft and using TV without a licence

The following people have been dealt with by magistrates. All addresses are Hartlepool unless otherwise stated:

John Stuart Briggs, 38, of Southburn Terrace, was jailed for 15 weeks for breach of a community order.

Martin Paul Emmerson, 35, of Dent Street, was made subject to a six-month community order for burglary, breach of bail and breach of a community discharge.

Barry Ingham, 36, of Grange Road, was jailed for 18 weeks and ordered to pay £96.50 compensation for three offences of theft.

Anthony Derrick Picton, 35, of Alford Court, was given a year’s conditional discharge and made subject to a year’s restraining order for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour.

Stephen Barker, 44, of Topcliffe Street, was fined £40 for using a TV without a licence.

Paul Bowles, 50, of Moffatt Road, was fined £93 for using a TV without a licence.

Peter Garry, 26, of Sydenham Road, was fined £60 for using a TV without a licence.

Katie Holland, 25, of Inverness Road, was fined £40 for using a TV without a licence.
