TWO men arrested in connection with a drive-by shooting have been rebailed until next year.
The Wingate men, aged 24 and 27, answered bail yesterday in connection with the shooting of a man, named locally as Keith Robinson, 56, in the groin and legs.
The victim was standing in his garden around 2.30pm on Monday, August 18 when a number of vehicles pulled up into the quiet close of Brackendale Court, in Station Town near Wingate, and opened fire.
Police said the victim was shot at numerous times before the vehicles sped away from the scene. His injuries were not said to be life-threatening at the time.
A Durham Police spokeswoman said the men have been bailed until February next year.
