THE trial of an alleged drug dealer has been put back for three weeks.

Gary Hart, 36, was due to stand trial at Teesside Crown Court yesterday.

He is accused of possessing heroin with intent to supply, possessing criminal property and obstructing a police constable.

But the case had to be put on hold until next month because of delays in obtaining mobile phone evidence and as a key witness was not available.

All alleged offences are said to have happened on April 12 this year.

Hart, of Wharton Terrace, Hartlepool, was remanded in custody until the next trial date on Tuesday, July 19.
