Football fans have today urged to look out for stolen Middlesbrough FC merchandise after a break-in at a warehouse owned by the football club.
The premises were broken into last Wednesday night, and a large amount of official merchandise taken.
It included about 50 gents’ leather watches and 50 limited edition watches which are both distinctive, as they feature the MFC emblem.
About 70 navy and red adult soft shell jackets ranging from sizes small to XXL were also stolen.
A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary, and has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
Police say some of the stolen goods may already have been sold, and are appealing for anyone who has been offered any of the items to come forward.
Anyone who knows anything is asked to contact Detective Sergeant Louise Sproson on 101 number, or via Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online HERE.
