FOUR people are due to appear in court next month in connection with alleged drug-dealing worth thousands of pounds.

Two men, aged 25 and 23, and two women, aged 47 and 28, all from Horden, have been charged with conspiracy to supply amphetamine and heroin.

It comes after the closure of an alleged “crack house” in Horden’s Eleventh Street.

The four people were charged and bailed to appear at Peterlee Magistrates’ Court on the afternoon of Thursday, November 27.

Six raids were conducted at various addresses in the village during the police investigation.

The alleged “crack house” was closed in March.
