A MAN accused of an alleged burglary has had his case sent to be dealt with by a judge.

Callum Mullen is accused of the burglary of a house in Edgehill Way, in Billingham, on January 11.

The 21-year-old is also charged with an alleged fraud, from January 12, which involved the alleged stolen items being sold onto a shop.

The defendant, of Wynyard Mews, in the Owton Manor area of Hartlepool, did not enter any pleas to the charges when he attended Hartlepool Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

Chairman of the bench Peter West sent the case to be dealt with at Teesside Crown Court on Wednesday, February 12. Mullen was released on unconditional bail.
