Yobs have broken into one of Hartlepool’s McDonald’s stores - but nothing was taken.
A break-in took place at the fast food giant’s Marina Way outlet in the early hours of Monday.
Police are now hoping to track down those responsible.
A spokeswoman for Cleveland Police said: “At 5.20am police were called to McDonald’s in Hartlepool following reports of a break-in.
“It is believed to have taken place between 2.30am and 5.15am.
“McDonald’s was unable to open this morning.
“Officers are now investigating the incident and anyone with any information is asked to call Cleveland Police on the non-emergency 101 line.”
